National Flower Arranging Day
On 20 June 2025, our talented members worked their floral magic, creating stunning summer arrangements featuring our signature flower — the red rose.
These beautiful displays were delivered as a surprise to local establishments including The Guildford Institute, Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Setfords Solicitors, Visit Guildford, and many more. Their delighted reactions made the day truly special.
Queen Elizabeth Care Home Workshops
Recently, our members volunteered at Queen Elizabeth Care Home, guiding residents through a fun and simple flower arranging session. The residents thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and we’re looking forward to returning soon for a festive Christmas workshop.
Yvonne Arnaud Theatre Gala
For the theatre’s 60th Gala Evening, attended by The Duke of Edinburgh, our members created seven elegant table arrangements and two stunning pedestals to decorate the venue.
It was a huge honour to be chosen to provide floral arrangements for such a prestigious milestone event.
Christmas Wreath Workshop

Kicking off the festive season in style, GFC hosted its first Christmas wreath workshop, and it was a huge hit. Ten enthusiastic attendees from total beginners to seasoned flower arrangers came together to craft stunning traditional wreaths.
Fuelled by mince pies and mulled wine, everyone left with a show stopping wreath ready to take pride of place on any front door.
